WebP to PDF Converter
Saved images from a website as WebP and need them in a document? Convert WebP to PDF: your browser opens each WebP and puts it on its own page, ready to share or print.
Need the text of your images in another language? Our image translation service translates it while preserving visual design.
Drag and drop images here
or click to select one or more images
You can also paste an image with Ctrl+V (⌘+V on a Mac)
Add one or more WebP files: each image becomes a page. JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF and GIF images can be mixed.
The PDF is created in your browser: your images are never uploaded.
What changes when you convert WebP to PDF
- Each WebP becomes one page. Add several images to combine them into a single PDF, in the order you choose.
- A PDF cannot hold WebP data, so your browser decodes the WebP and the image is stored as a lossless PNG: no new compression artifacts, but the PDF is usually larger than the WebP. Images above 16.8 megapixels are reduced to that size, the most every browser can draw.
- Transparent areas of the WebP stay transparent in the PDF and show the white page behind them, which is also how they print on white paper.
- The PDF is a still image: an animated WebP is converted from its first frame only.
- By default each page takes the size of its image at 96 DPI (one pixel is 1/96 inch). Choose A4 or US Letter to scale each image to fit the page, with no, small or large margins.
WebP and PDF compared
WebP
A web format developed by Google, generally smaller than JPG or PNG at comparable quality.
- Compression
- Lossy or lossless; images served by websites are usually lossy.
- Transparency
- Full alpha channel.
- Animation
- Yes: animated WebP replaces GIF on many websites.
- Support
- Current versions of all major browsers; some older programs, print services and upload forms still reject it.
- Typical uses
- Images on websites and online stores, where smaller files load faster.
A document format that looks the same on every device and printer; a page can hold text, drawings and images.
- Compression
- Depends on the content: an image keeps its own compression inside the PDF, such as JPEG data or lossless compression.
- Transparency
- Images can be transparent; viewers show the page behind them, usually white.
- Animation
- None: a PDF page is static.
- Support
- Opens in every current browser and on phones and computers; widely accepted by printers, email and upload forms.
- Typical uses
- Documents to email, upload or print: scans, receipts, forms, portfolios, photo series.

Frequently asked questions
Answers about converting WebP images to PDF with this free tool.
How is the WebP stored in the PDF?
A PDF cannot contain WebP data. Your browser decodes the WebP and the image is stored as a lossless PNG inside the PDF: no new artifacts are added, but the PDF is usually larger than the WebP file.
What if my WebP is animated?
A PDF page is static, so the converter uses the first frame of an animated WebP. Each WebP gives one page.
Can I combine several WebP images into one PDF?
Yes. Select or drop up to 50 images, then drag them, or use the arrow buttons, to set the page order. Each image becomes one page of the same PDF, and JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF and GIF images can be mixed.
Which page size should I choose?
Fit page to image, the default, makes each page exactly the size of its image at 96 DPI, without a white border. A4 (210 × 297 mm) and US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) suit printing and forms: each image is scaled to fit inside the margins and centered, on a portrait or landscape page that follows the image unless you choose the orientation.
Is the WebP to PDF converter free, and are my images uploaded?
It is free, needs no account and adds no watermark. The PDF is created in your browser, so your images are never uploaded to our servers. One PDF can hold up to 50 images, 100 MB of images in total.
