Listing text or listing images?

Titles, bullet points and descriptions are text fields: a translator, an agency or Seller Central’s listing tools handle them. The text inside your images (infographics, A+ modules, size charts) is not part of those fields, so it stays in the source language until the images are edited. That is the part this page translates.

Why listings stay in English when you open a new country

1

Your designer kept the PSD files

You only have the final JPGs from a former freelancer, an agency or your supplier. Rebuilding every infographic from scratch costs more than the launch can absorb.

2

English visuals on Amazon.de cost you sales

Shoppers compare listings in their own language. Infographics left in English make your product look imported and leave key benefits unread.

3

Every marketplace multiplies the bill

7 images × 50 ASINs × 4 marketplaces is 1,400 visuals. At designer rates, opening a country turns into a project of its own.

What you can translate

Every Amazon image that carries text

Your main image stays text-free on white background, so there is nothing to translate there. Everything else can be localized.

A+ Content modules

Brand control

Keep your brand, adapt the message

Marketing mode asks for persuasive benefits and calls to action instead of a word-for-word translation. Custom instructions tell the AI what must not change.

Examples of custom instructions

  • Do not translate the brand name “AquaPeak”.
  • Use the formal “Sie” form in German.
  • Keep all numbers and “750 ml” unchanged.
  • Write “BPA-frei” rather than a longer phrase.

Custom instructions are available from the Pro plan.

Amazon review checklist

  • Dimensions, weights and units
  • Claims allowed on the target marketplace
  • Product name, model and variant
  • Warnings and legal marks
  • Text that overflows its box

Amazon image translation FAQ

Are translated images compliant with Amazon’s image rules?

Amazon’s rules apply to what your image shows, not to how it was made. Main images must stay text-free on white background; secondary images and A+ Content may contain text. Check the current style guide of each marketplace in Seller Central before uploading.

Do I need to translate my main image?

No. The main image must not contain text, so it can be reused on every marketplace as is. Focus on secondary images, A+ modules and size charts.

Are units and dimensions converted automatically?

No. The translator keeps your values. If a marketplace needs other units, say so in a custom instruction and verify every number before upload.

Which marketplaces are covered by batch translation?

Amazon.de, .fr, .it, .es, .co.jp, .com, .co.uk, .com.mx and .com.br use the 9 main languages, available in batch and through the API. Amazon.nl, .pl, .se and .com.tr can be translated one image at a time from this page.

What about A+ module sizes such as 970 × 600?

Export each module at its final size: the translation is designed to keep the source aspect ratio. Check the final dimensions and adjust with the free crop tool if a module needs it.

Can I translate images made by my supplier?

Yes, as long as you have the right to use those images in your listings. If your supplier’s images are in Chinese, see our page dedicated to supplier product images.

How many credits do I need?

One image in one language uses one credit. A 7-image ASIN in 4 languages needs 28 credits. Use the estimate above for your whole catalog.

Can I sell with images made on the free plan?

The free plan is for personal use: its 3 monthly images let you test the quality. Listing translated images on Amazon is commercial use, which requires the Pro plan or above. Credit packs add credits to a plan; they do not change its usage rights.
