Chinese product image translation FAQ
Am I allowed to use my supplier’s images?
Many suppliers allow resellers to use their product images, but not all. Ask your supplier and keep their written agreement. Translating an image does not change who owns it.
Does it work with AliExpress, Taobao or Alibaba images?
Yes. Download the image file from the product page and upload it here. JPG, PNG and WebP up to 10 MB are supported.
Can it handle vertical or stylized Chinese text?
Most callouts and stylized headlines are handled. Very small text, handwriting and text over busy backgrounds may need a second translation or a manual touch-up.
Can I convert sizes while translating?
From the Pro plan, add a custom instruction such as “convert sizes to EU sizes”. Always check the result against the supplier’s measurements.
Can it remove the supplier’s logo or watermark?
You can ask for it in a custom instruction, but only do so if you have the right to use the image without the supplier’s branding.
